- 1 small garlic clove, roughly chopped 4g/0.2oz
- 2 green onions, roughly chopped 25g/0.9oz
- ½ cup cilantro, roughly chopped stems included 18g/0.6oz
- ½ jalapeño, seeded, roughly chopped 11g/0.4oz
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice 15g/0.5oz
- 1 cup mayonnaise 200g/7.2oz
- ½ cup sour cream 120g/4.2oz
- ¼ teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt 0.7g
In the food processor bowl or blender pitcher, combine all of the ingredients.
Blend or process until smooth, 1-2 minutes. Stop to scrape down the sides, if needed. Taste for seasoning.
Transfer the dressing to a container with a lid. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes before serving. It thickens when chilled.

For a thinner dressing, stir in 1-2 tablespoons of buttermilk, milk, or water after blending.
Make Ahead: This green goddess dressing can be made up to 5 days ahead of serving. You can serve it immediately, but more flavors will develop with time.
To Store: Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Freezing is not recommended.
